It is located on the edge of the Chočské vrchy, in the immediate vicinity there are Kvačianska and Prosiecka valley – karst valleys with lime-loving vegetation, waterfalls, plunges and hot springs. There are two wooden water mills and a sawmill in Kvačianská valley (Oblazy location). Above the village lies the meadow karst plateau Svorad, not far from the Western Tatras - Roháče. Together with the neighboring Goral villages of Malé Borové and Huty, it forms a peculiar micro-region.
